Man Dies In Hydro-Electric Scheme Accident

An investigation in underway after the death of a 46-year-old man in an industrial accident at the construction site of one of Scotland's biggest hydro-electric schemes.

The accident happened yesterday at 8am at Glendoe hydro power station near Fort Augustus.

Scottish and Southern Energy has confirmed an investigation is ongoing.

Glendoe is the biggest hydro electric scheme to be built in Scotland in 50 years.
