Edinburgh-based Cullen Property has appointed Steve Coyle to be its new Operations Director.
Steve will join Managing Director Malcolm Warrack on the board of the company, where he has worked as Property Lettings Manager for the past five years.
Cullen Property specialises in acquiring and managing properties for clients looking to invest in and let out residential property in Edinburgh. The appointment reflects the company's continued growth in an expanding market.
Steve will lead a team of ten staff and initially focus on strengthening Cullen Property's ties with new and existing tenants and landlords. His new role will see him focus on strategically leading the business to become one of Edinburgh's most respected residential lettings agencies renowned for its customer service.
Managing Director Malcolm Warrack commented: "We're delighted with Steve's appointment following the successful completion of his MBA at Edinburgh University earlier this year. His extensive customer service experience and business acumen make him invaluable for the future strategic development of Cullen Property."
Steve Coyle said: "The private residential letting market and especially student rentals are weathering the 'credit crunch' and continue to deliver substantial returns to long-term investors."
He added: "While Edinburgh is not immune to the current economic climate, its position as a strong centre for tourism, financial services and education allows it to remain buoyant amid the current challenges."
Cullen Property currently manages over 270 properties within Edinburgh. The company anticipates property prices in the Scottish capital to grow more quickly from 2010.
