Bookings are now being taken for the SFHA Property Maintenance Conference.

Sponsored by City Building (Glasgow), the event will take place on October 7/8 in Crieff Hydro.

Designed to be informative and entertaining, sessions during the two days of the event include energy performance certificates, electrical safety, procurement, adaptations and SHQS.

However one of the conference highlights is sure to be the performance of the haka by Manaia, the Maori Performing Arts Company. So how will haka help Housing Associations?

Conference organiser, Fiona Murray explained: "The idea behind this session is to motivate and encourage team working. It's something a little bit different and interesting because whilst the session will still promote the idea of motivation, the troupe will also give an insight into the tradition of the haka."

In addition to a full conference programme, the conference is host to one of the largest housing exhibitions in Scotland with over 50 exhibiting companies this year.
