Inverkip Roadworks

Residents are being advised of upcoming roadworks on Greenock's Inverkip Road, at the junctions with Auchmead Rd and Cumberland Rd.

The works will upgrade the two junctions in order to provide safe pedestrian access to the new Inverclyde Academy, due to open in November.

The works start on Monday 15th September and are scheduled to end on 19th October. They will run seven days a week between the hours of 7am and 8pm.

The junctions of Auchmead Road and Cumberland Road with Inverkip Road will be closed at times during the course of the works, although not simultaneously. Diversions will be in place during the closures of the junctions, which will be clearly signposted. There will be single-lane traffic on Inverkip Road during non peak hours and temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
