Miller Celebrates With Olympic Hero Chris Hoy

Triple Olympic gold medal winner Chris Hoy has made a triumphant visit to the Edinburgh headquarters of long-time sponsor The Miller Group - the UK's largest, privately-owned housebuilding, property development and construction business - following his glory in Beijing.

The Edinburgh-born cyclist, who has been sponsored by The Miller Group for over five years, was given a hero's welcome by staff and Group Chief Executive Keith Miller, who passed on their congratulations to the athlete who has become Scotland's greatest Olympian and the first British sportsman to win three Olympic gold medals at a single games in 100 years.

Chris Hoy is one of Scotland's most successful sportsmen having previously won both gold and silver Olympic medals and holding Olympic and World records.

Chris said: "I am extremely grateful to The Miller Group for its continued support which has been invaluable in helping me to achieve my ambitions. Simply knowing people are behind you is a huge incentive and the assistance of companies in providing sponsorship is essential in helping to develop sporting talent."

Keith Miller, Chief Executive, The Miller Group, said: "This is an incredible achievement and reflects the level of commitment and determination Chris has shown over many years in order to reach this world-class standard. Chris' success is well deserved and we are extremely proud and privileged to have been able to share in his journey to the top of cycling."
