Moray councillors have approved a 149-unit residential development in Buckie.
The 117 houses and 32 flats will be built by Elgin-based Springfield Properties at Barhill Road.
The £22m scheme will provide mid-range properties for families and first-time buyers, according to the developers.
The scheme will also include 30 affordable homes in line with the council's development plan policies.
The planning application attracted only one objection from a nearby householder who claimed the development would impact on his privacy and compromise road safety by generating additional traffic.
The application was approved unanimously by the council’s planning and regulatory services committee.
