Two new Bus Corridors in Ayrshire have been given the go-ahead.
The corridors from Garnock Valley at Kilwinning to Beith via Dalry and Glengarnock, and Ardrossan to Skelmorlie via Seamill, Fairlie and Largs will be funded by North Ayrshire Council.
The cost to deliver both schemes is around £1.1m. An initial sum of £300,000 has been awarded to the Council from Strathclyde Paternship for Transport towards the scheme.
It will involve raised kerbs, tactile slabs and new bus shelters.
Phase One in the Garnock Valley will begin later this year.
