The Dunne Group has announced its continued sponsorship of Linlithgow Rugby Club for the new season - renewing the successful partnership for a fifth successive year.
Dunne Group's working relationship with Linlithgow RFC has never been better and as a result of this a significant new three-year sponsorship deal has been agreed.
The deal will see Bathgate-based Dunne Group continue as the club's main sponsor, with its name and logo appearing on the front of the 1st XV strips. The company will also pay separately for the purchase of a new set of strips for the 1st XV in the coming season.
Gordon Dunne, managing director, said: "We are happy to continue our support of Linlithgow RFC and play our part in uniting the local community through the club's various endeavours. We hope our donation will help to establish Linlithgow RFC as a respectable challenger in the upcoming league season."
Gavin Brown, club president of Linlithgow RFC, said: "Like many clubs at our level in the league in Scotland we depend greatly upon three sources of income - membership fees, fund-raising/sponsorship and bar income.
"While most other organisations provide valuable sponsorship in kind, the Dunne Group is our largest financial sponsor. We would struggle without this sizeable contribution from them and it is greatly appreciated."
Brown added: "We're approaching the 40th anniversary of the reformation of the Club in 1970. To tie in with this anniversary, we're in the process of drawing up plans for the development of the club house facilities to cope with the growing success of our player development. The Dunne Group has been supportive of our ambitions and has always been ready to give advice."
