The Kier Group has announced that it is to close its the residential arm of it's Glasgow office.

The group said its order book of exchanged contracts as at June 30 was 45% down on last year, after visitor and reservation levels continued to fall. As a result, it is reducing headcount some offices.


Kier said it was 'very cautious' about the outlook next year, adding: "We will run a smaller, leaner operation in the future with our focus shifting towards affordable housing and regeneration."
