Akp is set to create a welcoming entrance for Golden Jubilee National Hospital, the NHS's national waiting times centre, based in Clydebank.
Representing a £1.6m contract, the new triangular shaped roofed entrance will feature a glass façade and accommodate an internal reception glass pod. A soothing water feature is also intended as a relaxing focal point
Ian McEwan, Managing Director of akp Scotland Ltd said: "The new entrance, as well as being aesthetically striking will also enhance the traffic management system, and represents a culmination of building work which has greatly enhanced the hospital environment for patients, staff and visitors."
akp's healthcare division recently delivered a £6.2m contract to create one of the UK's largest specialist heart and lung centres.
