The Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group Scotland (CIMCIGS) has announced a new chair at its Jazz networking event.
The event marked the end of Pamela Thomson's year as Chair and welcomed new Chair, Claire Valentine, is Marketing Manager for Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering.
Outgoing Chair, Pamela Thomson, Business Development Manager at Glasgow Caledonian University, said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed the last year in post with a number of sell out events and would like to thank my committee and members of CIMCIGS for their support. I have no doubt that Claire will rise to the challenge and wish her a successful year."
The Jazz event raised in excess of £400 for the Wooden Spoon Charity (Scottish Branch) - a charity who support mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged children and young people.
