Miller Developments Take Up The Rob Roy Challenge

Miller Developments provided sponsorship support for a group of intrepid Jones Lang LaSalle employees taking part in this year's Rob Roy Challenge.

The 23 Jones Lang LaSalle employees made up six individual teams, one of which picked up trophy for the fastest team.

Participants in the Challenge were required to walk 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, through the Trossachs to Callander, where they switched to bikes for a 39-mile cycle to Kenmore.

The Jones Lang LaSalle contingent joined over 600 people taking part in the June event and their efforts raised over £8,000 for the four designated Rob Roy Challenge charities – Habitat for Humanity, The Prince's Trust, PSYBT and The Place 2 Be.

Ben Reed, National Director, Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "This is the third time that staff from Jones Lang LaSalle have taken up this challenge and it is a tremendous feeling of achievement. We are grateful to Miller Developments for its continued support and assisting us with raising money for so many worthwhile causes.”

Phil Miller, chief executive, Miller Developments, said: “We are delighted to have been able to play a part in helping the Jones Lang LaSalle team complete this extremely gruelling challenge. They can be very proud of what they have accomplished.

The name of the route – The Rob Roy Way – comes from the famous Highland folk hero and outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor, who used much of this route during his travels through Scotland.
