Bilco Supplies Fire Doors For Scottish Prison

Bilco, a Leading access doors and vents manufacturer has completed delivery of 11 steel one hour fire rated floor doors for a prison in Scotland.

The prison ordered four JFR-2 doors, which are 760 mm x 760 mm, and seven JFR-7 doors, which are 915 mm x 1,220 mm. The doors are used internally for emergency exits from the staircases.

The doors were specially modified to prevent them being used as a means of escape except in an emergency. For security reasons, Bilco has been asked not to identify the prison where the doors are fitted.
