Lettings are going well at The Elements, Land Securities' new £130m shopping centre in Livingston, with several top high-street names already signed up.
Leasing Director David Smith reported today that the 375,000 sq ft shopping centre, due to open on October 16, is now 70%t let or in solicitors' hands.
In addition to the 90,000 sq ft anchor stores, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams, a host of retailers and catering outlets are flocking to Livingston's contemporary new shopping centre. Stores lined up so far include H&M, River Island, Swarovski, Beaverbrooks, 3 and Orange as well as restaurants Wagamama, Nando's and ASK.
David Smith said: "We are now seeing a lot of exciting national and international names signing up to The Elements which is fantastic news, and we are in active discussions on the remaining space.
"Debenhams and Marks & Spencer are now shopfitting, the centre looks fabulous, and the retailers we have signed so far are everything we could have hoped for. These lettings underscore the geographical significance of Livingston and the quality of the retail environment."
