Glasgow Harbour - a regeneration scheme in the Partick area of the city - is to welcome its latest inhabitant.
'Rise', a six-metre high sculpture by artist Andy Scott, is set to be unveiled.
The work, which features the head and body of a woman with propeller-like arms, aims to symbolise modernity rising from Glasgow's maritime past.
Mr Scott was behind the Clydesdale horse on the M8, and is also working on two 100ft-high "Kelpies" which will function as a boat lift in the Falkirk area
Steven Purcell of Glasgow City Council, will official unveil the piece.
