Inverness-based developers Tulloch Homes have spent over £30 million on the acquisition of more than 500 plots.

In sharp contrast to the housing market slowdown, the move will see the construction company building in North kessock, Fortrose and Parks Farm over the next 10 years.

Tulloch chairman David Sutherland said: "The supply and demand curve is way out of kilter. There's no way supply is keeping up with demand even in these challenging times."
