Glasgow construction company, McKean & Company, a division of the McKean Group, is celebrating after successfully passing a recent Investors in People assessment and an annual NQA Audit.
The Investors in People standards have recently been reviewed, setting businesses with more stringent criteria than previous years. The revised standard measures the company against 10 indicators to demonstrate improved performance. One fifth of the company's employees were interviewed during the recent assessment and achieved the required standard on all 10, with the required standard exceeded on two of these indicators.
The company will also continue to be registered under the ISO 9001:2000 standard after passing a recent NQA Audit. This demonstrates the importance of consistently delivering high quality products and services.
Dave Noar, Director of McKean Group, said: "We are delighted to have achieved great results in both these assessments. Our success demonstrates McKean & Company's ongoing commitment to enhancing the performance and standards of both our people and the first class service we provide to clients
"The team at McKean & Company deserves recognition for their efforts in ensuring these high standards were met and are maintained."
McKean & Company delivers a variety of both civil engineering and building orientated projects. Work includes a £1.8m project in Glasgow city centre's St George's Tron Parish Church, a £1.4m design and build car park for Renfrewshire Council and specialist contracts in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
