Drumbow, one of Scotland's fastest growing construction and house building companies, has reinforced its commitment to health and safety when the CITB Skills Corporate Mobile Testing Unit arrived at the company's head office in Bathgate.
Over 40 members of site based staff from Drumbow participated in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) test day, which saw an almost 100% pass rate.
The team undertook the CSCS Touch Screen Test to demonstrate their competency and awareness of health and safety.
Obtaining a CSCS card is a requirement for anyone working on a Drumbow site or visiting one of the company's sites.
Drumbow's Chairman, Alexander Clarkson was the first person at Drumbow to successfully complete the test.
He said: "Being a CSCS cardholder will be an industry requirement by 2010 for everyone entering a building site. At Drumbow, we are committed to ensuring that our business will be 100% compliant well before then."
