Stewart Maxwell, Minister for Communities and Sport, will officially open the head office of Link, the housing, regeneration and support group, today.
Link has moved to the redeveloped Swan building in New Mart Road, Slateford, Edinburgh, after many years working from Albany Street in the city centre.
The new office accommodates around 50 members of staff and boasts flexible conferencing facilities and meeting space, drop in zones and a large external terrace.
In addition, the building's energy efficiency measures such as passive solar gain, natural ventilation, high efficiency boilers and improved water management has allowed Link to reduce its carbon footprint.
More than 100 people are expected to attend the official opening on April 15, which will feature speeches by Mr Maxwell, Link's Chair Robbie Robertson and its Chief Executive Craig Sanderson.
Link CEO, Craig Sanderson said: "We're pleased that, in agreeing to open our new HQ, Mr Maxwell recognises Link's important work providing affordable housing, leading community regeneration projects and supporting people in living independently.
"Link has had a strong presence in Edinburgh and right across the central belt for more than 40 years and we see our move to a bigger, better office as the start of a new chapter in our ongoing growth and development."
