The £15m regeneration of Stenhousemuir town centre is making rapid process.
The new Larbert Library is due to open on April 21 and a range of town centre environmental improvements, including new paving, is well underway.
New retail units are in place and occupied. Old shop units and maisonette flats in King Street have been demolished to make way for more retail units.
New parking has also been created and work is expected to start soon on a new road leading from Main Street to the new shops and library.
A new 40,000 sq ft Asda is under construction and is expected to be completed after the summer.
Councillor Craig Martin, Falkirk Council's Convener of Economic Development, said: "Any regeneration scheme takes time. Now we are seeing rapid progress in the project and a visible difference in the landscape of Stenhousemuir.
"I am sure everyone - residents, businesses and visitors - will be impressed with the new-look Stenhousemuir."
