In a move to strengthen its position in the Scottish market, Avalon Timber Frame Homes has teamed up with architects Slorach Wood and builders Wallgray Properties.
Nick Whitehorn, Avalon's Managing Director, said: "Operating from both Edinburgh and Aberdeen, Wallgray Properties will be responsible for erecting Avalon's timber framed homes throughout Scotland. In addition, they are able to offer the complete, high quality build package, an option that many potential customers are seeking."
John Wallman, joint Managing Director of Wallgrave Properties was attracted by the quality of the Avalon package and its unique closed panel system.
He said: "In all the years I have been in the building trade, I have never seen such a robust, durable and energy efficient frame system. "The high quality and bespoke nature of the Avalon product fits well with our own ethos, building individual, custom properties to the highest standards and giving customers exactly what they want."
The third member of the triumvirate is Slorach Wood architects of South Queensferry.
"Whenever architectural input or assistance with planning applications is needed, Slorach Wood will be on hand to provide the tailored personal service on which they have built their reputation," said Whitehorn.
