BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out daytime drainage upgrades on the A84 at Straid House, south of Callander, from Monday 19 October.
The scheme will run between 8am and 4pm each day and is scheduled to finish by Friday 6 November.
For the safety of road users and the workforce, temporary traffic lights and a layby closure will be in operation 24 hours a day, including weekends.
Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained throughout the works.
BEAR Scotland has consulted relevant stakeholders in advance to advise them of the traffic management arrangements and to help minimise disruption.
Euan Burnett, BEAR Scotland's North West Planned Maintenance Manager, said: "These drainage improvements on the A84 at Straid House will reduce instances of flooding on the trunk road, increasing the safety of all road users.
"Our teams will carry out these works quickly, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements."
