Henry Brothers has been selected by Babcock International Group to deliver three new projects at His Majesty's Naval Base Clyde (HMNB Clyde).
The package comprises upgrades to security fencing at a key support building in Faslane, the supply and installation of specialist ballistic security shelters across the base, and the refurbishment of an existing Pressure Test Building.
Together valued at £2.55 million, the works form part of Babcock's ongoing investment in critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde, helping ensure the facilities and assets that support the Royal Navy's Vanguard and Astute-class submarines remain resilient, secure and prepared for future requirements.
Nick McKeown, Regional Director for Scotland, Henry Brothers, said: "Being appointed to deliver these new projects at HMNB Clyde reflects the trust Babcock places in Henry Brothers and our capability in delivering complex, secure and highly specialised infrastructure.
"Our workforce has extensive experience across the defence sector, and we remain committed to ensuring the Royal Navy's operational facilities are robust, resilient and fit for purpose.
"These new appointments strengthen our partnership with Babcock and underline our shared focus on delivering high-quality, dependable facilities for the submarine fleet."
Work will begin immediately, with all three schemes contributing to the wider modernisation and enhancement of facilities across the Clyde estate.
The appointments further underscore Henry Brothers' specialist capability in delivering secure, complex infrastructure for the defence sector.
