East Renfrewshire Council To Launch New Employability Flexible Framework In November

Construction News Image

East Renfrewshire Council (ERC) will introduce a new flexible framework for employability at the start of November, with the current arrangement due to expire.

ERC is encouraging local, regional and national providers to engage with the opportunity. Working with the Supplier Development Programme (SDP), the council will run engagement to introduce potential bidders to the framework and support them through the process.

An information session for interested suppliers will take place at 2pm on Monday 26 October at the Work EastRen offices, 14 Lowndes Street, Barrhead, Glasgow, G78 2QX. A hybrid option will also be available.

The pre-information day will feature ERC colleagues outlining the different lots, their approach and what the council aims to achieve from the new flexible framework. Representatives from ERC's Procurement team will also provide guidance on procurement processes and procedures.

Agenda highlights include: housekeeping and introductions from East Renfrewshire Council; Work EastRen employability services and an overview of the lots; an update from ERC Procurement; Supplier Development Programme – top tips for tendering; and a Q&A.

In addition, SDP will host an aligned tender training webinar in late November to help interested parties bid for this contract opportunity. Further details will be shared shortly.
