Local firm John Heaney Electrical Limited (JHE) has extended its sponsorship of Livingston Football Club.

The West Lothian mechanical, electrical and HVAC specialist has agreed to continue to sponsor the match ball plinth at the Home of the Set Fare Arena, while also taking its sponsorship of the men's first team's shorts for a fourth season.

With the JHE name having been seen on the trackside advertising board's since 2019, the new agreements underline the company's long-term commitment to its local professional football club.

Livingston's Chief Operating Officer Dave Black said: "We're incredibly fortunate to have built a terrific group of sponsors and John Heaney (Electrical) Limited are absolutely one of those.

"Mark Heaney has been a consistent supporter of both the club and myself since I came into the building and I'm incredibly grateful on both fronts for that support again for another season.

"It's been great to welcome Mark and guests from the business along to the boardroom across the last few seasons where we've been able to continue to build that relationship.

"A conversation I had with Mark in the early days of his sponsorship has stuck with me and that is the company really sees this as a local, community partnership and regardless of form or league tables, he wants to support the club and be part of what we're trying to do here.

"That commitment is fantastic and it's exciting to have yet another local company proudly displayed on our match kit this season."

Mark Heaney, JHE's Managing Director, said: "Supporting our local team is at the heart of everything we do.

"This is all about supporting the local community and we're pleased to be able to extend what is a successful and long-standing relationship with the football club.

"We look forward to an exciting season and wish Davie, the team and the fans every success on and off the pitch."

Livingston are next in action this weekend when they travel to Dunfermline in the Scottish Championship.
