BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential concrete investigations and repairs on the A82 Leagann Bridge, approximately 1.5km south of Laggan Locks.

The programme is due to begin on Monday 12 October and is expected to last around five weeks, finishing on Friday 13 November.

Activities include concrete testing and repair of the bridge, along with the installation of new steel ducts at the parapet.

To protect road users and the workforce, a single lane will remain closed around the clock for the duration of the works, with two-way temporary traffic lights maintaining traffic flow through the site.

Richard Cook, BEAR Scotland's North West Bridges Manager, said: "These maintenance and investigation works are essential to ensuring the structural integrity and long-term durability of the bridge, while also providing information that will support its future maintenance.
