Savills has appointed Jamie Adam as head of residential development sales for Scotland, expanding his existing responsibilities overseeing the firm's residential development sales teams across the North of England.

Adam's appointment follows the retirement of Carole Mackie, who has led Savills' residential development sales business in Scotland since 2018.

In his expanded role, Adam will oversee development sales teams across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool, bringing together teams operating across several of the UK's key regional housing markets.

He will work alongside established teams in Scotland and northern England to support developers and strengthen links between regional markets and Savills' wider national and international network.

The appointment comes as residential development markets continue to evolve, with developers increasingly seeking access to wider buyer audiences and sales strategies that combine local market expertise with broader reach.
