Clark Contracts brought together more than 200 customers at its Annual Customer Receptions in Edinburgh and Glasgow, celebrating a year of growth and industry recognition while raising funds for mental health charity SAMH.
The first reception was held at Le Monde Hotel on George Street in Edinburgh, followed by a West of Scotland event at Glasgow's Corinthian Club. The gatherings reinforced the contractor's commitment to long-standing relationships across the sector.
At both events, Managing Director Gordon Cunningham delivered a short address and video presentation outlining another strong year for the business. Highlights included sustained growth, the £150m turnover milestone, delivery across a broad range of sectors, and continued investment in people through internal progression, new appointments and the company's Academy. The presentation also noted recent recognition, including a second Learning Excellence Award and shortlisting for Contractor of the Year at this year's UK Construction News Awards.
Speaking of the events, Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts, said: "Our Annual Customer Receptions are always a valuable opportunity to bring people together, thank those who continue to work with us, and reflect on the progress made across the business. This year's events allowed us to highlight not only the projects we are delivering, but also the investment we are making in our people, our communities and the continued growth of the company."
More than £2,000 was raised during the receptions, which the company matched, taking the total donation to over £4,000 for SAMH during Suicide Prevention Month. Since beginning their partnership with SAMH in 2022, Clark Contracts has raised nearly £40,000 for the charity.
Now firmly established as a fixture in the construction industry calendar, the annual receptions offer Clark Contracts a platform to thank customers and design teams for their ongoing support.
