Farrans Foundation, the company's award-winning two-year graduate programme, combines practical site experience with structured learning, mentoring and professional development. Participants gain exposure to major projects while working towards professional accreditation with recognised industry bodies.
Opportunities span a range of disciplines, including civil engineering and quantity surveying.
Undergraduate placements provide hands-on experience either over a full year or during the summer, and high-performing placement students may be offered bursaries to support their final year of study.
Apprenticeships are available for those who want to earn while they learn, blending live project work with structured training and recognised qualifications alongside experienced industry professionals.
Early-career colleagues at Farrans contribute to nationally significant projects, particularly across aviation, water and energy, helping to deliver infrastructure that benefits communities throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
The application window is open until December 2026, with interviews taking place throughout autumn and offers to be issued in early 2027.
