Clark Contracts has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 Building the Future Construction Awards, which celebrate the individuals, businesses and teams shaping the future of the construction sector.
The company is a finalist for Best Construction Industry Training Provider and Employer of the Year – Large (250+ Employees).
This acknowledgement reflects the firm's sustained investment in people at all career stages. Central to this is the Clark Contracts Academy, which offers a structured framework for training, development and progression. Through apprenticeships, graduate programmes, work placements, professional development and engagement with schools, colleges and universities, the company supports the next generation of construction professionals while creating long-term career opportunities nationwide.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts said: "We are proud to be shortlisted in two categories at the Building the Future Construction Awards. Investing in our people has always been central to our business, and these nominations recognise the commitment of our teams to developing talent, creating opportunities and supporting the next generation of construction professionals.
"Being recognised alongside organisations from across the UK is a significant achievement and reflects the culture we have built at Clark Contracts, where continuous learning, development and career progression are encouraged at every level."
Awards organisers said this year's nominations set an exceptionally high standard, with each finalist recognised for their achievements, dedication and contribution to the industry's future.
Winners will be announced at the Building the Future Construction Awards ceremony at the ICC Birmingham on 5 November 2026.
