Modulek has completed the design and delivery of a new private aviation terminal for Signature Aviation at Glasgow Airport, creating a premium gateway for business and private aviation passengers travelling into Scotland.

The project, which forms part of Signature Aviation's ongoing investment programme across its global network, delivers around 433 square metres (almost 5,000 sq ft) of passenger and operational space.

Modulek secured the contract following a competitive design-and-build tender process involving three other organisations. Its in-house design team developed a concept that combines high-end passenger facilities with operational efficiency while meeting the stringent security requirements of a live airport environment.

The completed terminal features a covered passenger drop-off area, luxury waiting lounges, VIP facilities, meeting rooms, passenger shower facilities, dedicated security screening areas and staff accommodation. A double-height vaulted reception space provides a striking focal point, creating an open and welcoming arrival experience.

Working within the airport boundary required close coordination between the design, construction and airport operations teams to ensure the project met aviation security and operational requirements throughout the build.

Modulek acted as principal contractor, delivering the turnkey project from architectural design and off-site modular manufacture through to groundworks, installation, internal fit-out and external works.
