BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out resurfacing on the A84 between Craigforth Roundabout and Auction Mart Roundabout, west of Stirling, from Monday 20 July.
The programme will operate overnight between 7pm and 6am, with completion expected by Tuesday 4 August. No works will take place on Friday or Saturday nights.
To protect roadworkers and drivers, temporary traffic lights and a convoy system will be in place during working hours, escorting traffic through the site at 10mph.
Further traffic management will see the eastbound approach to Craigforth Roundabout reduced to a single lane to allow surfacing, while Auld Mart Roundabout and its approaches will also operate with single-lane running.
The M9 Junction 10 northbound off-slip will close each night from Monday 20 July to Friday 31 July, with a signed diversion from the motorway. The M9 Junction 10 northbound on-slip will remain open throughout.
All lane restrictions and slip-road closures will be removed outside working hours to minimise disruption.
Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the duration of the works, with temporary bus stops provided within the site limits.
Consultation has been undertaken with relevant stakeholders ahead of the works to make them aware of the traffic management and reduce inconvenience.
