Briar Homes Marks Sell-Out Success at Willowfields

Construction News Image

Family-owned Scottish housebuilder Briar Homes has announced that every property at its Willowfields development in Newmains has successfully sold out, bringing the sales period for this North Lanarkshire project to a close.

The project comprised 27 three-bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses, arranged across a carefully designed residential layout within the historic village of Newmains. Engineered for modern family life, the properties pair contemporary configurations and open-plan living areas with private gardens, adaptable interiors, and an energy-efficient build standard throughout.

Throughout its construction phase, Willowfields has supplied high-demand new properties to an established village community, retaining easy access to nearby green spaces and local services. The location proved highly attractive to commuters requiring travel links to Glasgow, while offering a quieter residential location inside North Lanarkshire.

Environmental sustainability and long-term running efficiency were central to the project's design philosophy. The houses feature integrated solar PV panels, dual-zone heating systems, and modern energy-saving technology designed to lower both environmental footprints and household utility expenses.

Ainslie McCrone, Sales & Marketing Manager at Briar Homes Ltd, said: "Willowfields being fully occupied is a proud milestone for the team and for everyone involved in the development. It's been great to welcome residents into the development and see a real community take shape over the past few years.

"What has been particularly encouraging at Willowfields is the number of buyers who connected with the development early and followed the journey through to completion. That level of interest throughout the build reflects the quality of the homes and the experience created by the team, from first enquiry through to handover."

New resident Naveen Raj, who recently moved into the development with his family, said: "This house is my wife's dream home and we're very happy to receive the keys and move in. My mentor used to say that marketing sells something for the first time, but service sells it the second time, and that really stayed with me throughout the process. Choosing Briar Homes is one of the best decisions we've made."
