Historic Environment Scotland Invites Feedback On HEPS Update

Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is seeking views on how HEPS is working in practice to inform revisions to this national policy.

HEPS applies whenever decisions could affect the historic environment. It helps shape policies, strategies and guidance, and supports decision-making within the planning system.

HES wants to hear how housing associations use HEPS and how it can be improved to support sound decisions for the historic environment.

Responses can be submitted via the online survey at haveyoursay.historicenvironment.scot/heritage/heps-update/. The deadline is Monday 29 June.
