DM Hall Places Prime Newburgh Development Site on the Market

Construction News Image

Independent Scottish firm of chartered surveyors, DM Hall, is inviting offers for a prime 0.75-acre development site located at Shorehead Road, Newburgh, KY14 6BH. The parcel of land has been brought to the market with a guide price of £250,000.

The site benefits from a versatile operational history, having previously been utilised as a furniture warehouse business and for smallholding purposes. The plot is situated within the established village settlement line, and its designation within the local development plan is accessible via the Fife Council website.

Positioned behind a Co-op supermarket car park and adjacent to existing residential properties, the land has been recently cleared for development. The site features direct access onto Shorehead Road, with an on-site water supply and additional utility services situated nearby. Subject to securing the requisite planning consents, the land offers development potential for commercial, residential, or smallholding applications.

Newburgh provides a comprehensive range of local infrastructure, including a primary school, doctors' surgery, veterinary practice, post office, mobile banking services, a garage, independent retail units, and public houses. Located near the Perthshire border, the site benefits from transport connectivity to Perth, as well as the Fife market towns of Cupar and St Andrews.

Jennifer Campbell of DM Hall's rural department, who is overseeing the sale process, said: "Rarely available to the open market, this prime site within a pretty village location, may be suitable for a number of end uses and is an exciting offering to the marketplace.

"Our client is seeking offers in the region of £250,000 for the heritable interest and all viewing enquiries should be directed to the rural team either by email at [email protected] or on 01786 833 800."
