Algo has completed and handed over a major poultry construction project in Scotland for a long-standing agricultural client near Dundee.

The new 3,025 square metre poultry shed stretches over 120 metres and has been designed and built to meet the needs of modern poultry farming and wider agricultural operations across Scotland.

Serving as principal contractor, the company delivered the steel-framed structure alongside substantial external works. The exterior is finished in durable Juniper Green cladding, and the building features graded timber purlins, automated pop holes and high-specification finishes throughout.

Extensive siteworks formed a key part of the development, including PAV2-grade concrete to all surrounding external areas and the construction of a new access road to ensure long-term durability and efficient site access for future agricultural use.

Completed on time and finished to a high standard ahead of the arrival of the building's first occupants, the scheme reflects the company's ongoing commitment to high-quality agricultural buildings, poultry sheds and rural projects across Scotland.

The project was managed by Craig Wilkinson with site management by Grant Harrison, with teams working closely from initial enquiry through to final handover to ensure successful delivery.
