Procast Group, a leading provider of full-turnkey retrofit and energy-efficiency services, has joined the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) as an Associate Member. The move reinforces the group's commitment to supporting the Scottish social housing sector during a period of significant transition and environmental pressure.
Operating as an award-winning principal contractor across the UK, Procast Group delivers refurbishment and energy solutions through specialist divisions in building, property services, and innovation. The company collaborates frequently with local authorities, government bodies, and housing associations to improve home sustainability and combat rising fuel poverty.
By joining the SFHA, Procast Group intends to deepen its collaboration with social landlords who are currently navigating a complex landscape of ageing housing stock, rising operational costs, and stringent decarbonisation targets. The SFHA represents housing associations and co-operatives throughout Scotland, and its Associate Membership programme is designed to connect these organisations with specialist industry expertise.
Derek Innes, Group Managing Director at Procast Group, said: "Procast Group is proud to join the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations as an Associate Member. Housing associations are facing unprecedented challenges as they work to decarbonise homes, tackle fuel poverty and maintain high-quality housing for their communities.
"We see ourselves as a force for good in this space. Being a part of SFHA allows us not only to support the sector as a trusted solution provider, but to be a valuable voice, helping shape the future of social housing in Scotland. We look forward to working alongside SFHA members, sharing our expertise and playing an instrumental role in delivering sustainable, energy-efficient homes that make a real difference to people's lives."
Alison Grady, Business Manager at SFHA, welcomed the partnership: "At SFHA we know that retrofit and reaching net zero challenges are a key concern for members. So we're delighted to be able to bolster our associate offering on this. Providing safe, warm and affordable homes is central to what housing associations do every day and the sector will continue its commitment to that."
The membership marks a strategic step for Procast Group as it seeks to contribute to long-term social value and help build more resilient, energy-efficient communities across Scotland.
