All-Energy 2026 will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the SEC Glasgow from 13–14 May, with officials from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero set to attend the milestone event.
Michael Shanks MP, Minister for Energy, will deliver the opening day's keynote, outlining the Government's plans to scale industrial decarbonisation. On day two, Chris Stark CBE, Head of the UK's Mission for Clean Power, will give the Strategic Summit's opening plenary address.
Anam Khan, All-Energy Event Manager at RX Global said: "We're excited to welcome both Michael Shanks MP and Chris Stark to the stage at All-Energy 2026. With the renewable energy sector at such a critical juncture, working more closely with stakeholders and policymakers has never been more important. The Energy Minister's attendance offers a unique opportunity for attendees to gain first-hand insight into government progress and evolving policy."
The conference will spotlight the UK's route to clean energy targets through a refreshed agenda and enhanced show-floor experience, tackling themes such as investment and finance, transmission reform, skills and workforce, the supply chain and the circular economy.
For the first time, organisers RX Global have convened a dedicated Strategic Summit committee to curate the programme, drawing on 29 prominent figures from across the energy ecosystem to shape a more streamlined schedule.
Committee members include Iain Sinclair, Executive Director at GES Holding; Morag Watson, Director of Onshore at Scottish Renewables; Philippa Parmiter, CEO at NECCUS; and Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy at Shepherd and Wedderburn, alongside representatives from Siemens Energy, EDF, BEAMA, Hitachi Energy, the Crown Estate and SSEN-Transmission.
Opening plenaries will run on both days, reflecting the full breadth of the energy transition. Sessions will span all forms of renewable generation, and explore decarbonising transport, heat, cities and places, industry and the wider supply chain.
Anam continued: "This year's event has been carefully shaped to encourage fresh thinking and the Strategic Summit Committee has been instrumental in driving a more focused programme which addresses the key topics affecting the industry today. Celebrating 25 years of All-Energy provides a moment to reflect on the progress made, but also to recognise the work still to be done. I'm excited to see deeper collaboration and more inclusive conversations across the sector, ensuring we continue to support the people, partnerships and ideas driving the UK's energy transition forward."
The show floor is being expanded to foster collaboration, with new features including the Scale-up Zone, developed with Energy Systems Catapult to showcase SMEs, and the Mission Clean Power Lounge, delivered with DESNZ, the National Energy System Operator (NESO), GBE and UKEF.
A new Innovators Hub, in partnership with the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), will connect delegates with start-ups, disruptors and technology pioneers to help bridge the gap between innovation and deployment. Five new roundtables and workshops will create more interactive debate on topics such as the EV transition, ocean refuel and CCUS. The Women in New Energy Zone, run with Energy Voice, will provide a space for networking, mentoring and collaboration to support greater diversity.
These additions complement established theatres covering Solar and Storage, Future Grid, Built Environment and Community Energy, Future Talent, Hydrogen, Innovation, and Offshore and Onshore Wind and Marine Energy.
More than 300 exhibitors are expected, spanning local authorities, consultancies, power suppliers, software developers and OEMs. Confirmed participants include EDF Energy, Hitachi Energy, ETZ Ltd, Schneider Electric, the North Sea Transition Authority and West of Orkney Windfarm.
Workforce development sits at the heart of this year's event. A dedicated Skills and STEM programme, supported by premium partner OPITO and partners including The Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), GB Energy, DYW and Glasgow Science Centre, will run across both days. The popular Skills Zone returns to bring employers, educators and industry leaders together to map the training pathways needed for the transition.
School groups from across the Glasgow City region will attend. On day two, up to 300 younger students will tour the exhibition and join sessions, while older students will participate across both days, supported by Powering Futures. Delivered with DYW and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, and supported by SOWEC, the initiative strengthens education–industry links and regional skills pipelines.
Marking the anniversary year, headline sponsor Shepherd and Wedderburn will support a special Giant Networking Evening, giving visitors and exhibitors an informal setting to connect, exchange ideas and reflect on All-Energy's 25-year journey.
