Ogilvie Construction has begun work on a £4.9 million scheme at Fraser Path in Arbroath to deliver 20 high-quality affordable homes for Angus Council, supported by £2.1 million from the Scottish Government's Affordable Housing Supply Programme.

The project will offer a range of property types to reflect local demand, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and modern living standards.

Councillor Jill Scott, Angus Council's housing convener, said: "The Fraser Path site will become a high-quality development of flats and cottages, including sought-after one-bedroom homes and will support better outcomes for tenants while responding to current housing challenges."

David Mason, operations director for Tayside and the North of Scotland at Ogilvie Construction, added: "We are proud to be working with Angus Council to deliver high quality energy efficient homes at Fraser Path."

The homes will feature high levels of insulation and energy efficiency, with completion expected in November 2027.
