Morrison Construction has been selected by Hub North, acting on behalf of Aberdeen Council, to deliver the Castlegate public realm project.

The programme will upgrade the city centre environment by improving pedestrian areas, introducing new landscaping and seating, and creating a high‑quality space that supports Aberdeen's wider regeneration.

The appointment builds on the team's work on the Aberdeen Union Street Central Streetscape project and further strengthens the business's expanding infrastructure activity in the north east of Scotland.

Ross Glendinning, Operations Director for Galliford Try, which Morrison Construction is part of, said: "This project marks an important milestone for our Infrastructure business, working with partners in the region to improve the public realm for local people.
