Persimmon Marks New Homes Week With 'The Persimmon Way' Focus

To mark Day 3 of New Homes Week, Persimmon has spotlighted the mix of customer satisfaction, quality standards and buyer protections associated with purchasing a new-build home, centred on its commitment known as The Persimmon Way.

According to the latest National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey, 94% of new-build purchasers would recommend their builder to friends or family, with over 90% satisfied with the quality of their home. The independent survey awards Five Stars only when at least 90% of respondents say they would recommend their builder, a benchmark that recognises service and build quality throughout the buying journey.

Andy Fuller, Group Construction Director at Persimmon, said: "At Persimmon Homes, we're proud to build homes the right way. Through The Persimmon Way, we're committed to high standards of quality, safety, and customer care at every stage of the journey. Our approach is underpinned by comprehensive checking systems and robust internal auditing, backed by a comprehensive warranty, and protected by the New Homes Ombudsman service, giving customers confidence that they're making a secure investment in their future."

Persimmon said its homes undergo rigorous checks from early construction through to completion, with all new properties covered by a 10-year warranty. The company added that its build quality and after-sales approach are reflected in strong customer feedback, including a 5-star rating from the Home Builders Federation and an 'Excellent' Trustpilot score (as at 12 January 2025).
