Bid Experts Join Forces To Launch Aspire Bidding

A new specialist consultancy, Aspire Bidding, has been launched by two of the industry's leading tender experts, Andrew Morrison and Chris Denyer. Headquartered in Edinburgh, the firm aims to transform the bidding process for companies with turnovers exceeding £10 million by blending traditional human insight with modern technology.

The partnership brings together Mr Morrison, an East Lothian-based expert and global thought leader for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), and Mr Denyer, a Glasgow-based specialist with 20 years of experience in the construction sector. Prior to the launch, Mr Denyer collaborated with the Scottish Building Federation to deliver nationwide sessions on the integration of Artificial Intelligence in tendering.

Discussing the motivation behind the new venture, Chris Denyer said: "I first met Andrew a year ago. He is extremely well known and very, very good at what he does. The more we worked on things together, the more sense it made to join forces as I believe our different strengths are a powerful match. I'm really looking forward to seeing where the partnership takes us."

The firm focuses on addressing a common pitfall in modern tendering: the lack of personal connection. Mr Denyer noted: "One of the common reasons why bids fail is a lack of human connection. Many bids describe services, processes and policies flawlessly, yet leave evaluators unable to answer the simple question: 'What will it actually be like to work with these people?' Aspire Bidding places the human reality of the bidding organisation at the centre of the response."

The consultancy launches with a team of six staff members across the UK and already services a diverse client base stretching from the Lothians and Western Scotland to Yorkshire and London.

Andrew Morrison, who recently sold Business Sale Basecamp following his successful tenure at AM Bid, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. He said: "I am very much looking forward to harnessing our years of bidding experience. Chris has 20 years' experience of working in the construction sector and I have so much respect for his work, particularly his great understanding of AI in bid writing."

Aspire Bidding intends to expand its personnel as it grows, targeting firms that are committed to investing in their long-term ability to win work through high-quality, stress-free submissions.
