Principal contractor, Procast Group, has successfully gained a place on the highly sought-after Multi-Element Framework run by the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC).
The Hamilton-based firm has been appointed to Lot 2 of the UK-wide framework, which is valued at £450 million. Lot 2 specifically covers services and works for residential properties and their associated communal areas, relating to multiple elements of the built environment, including responsive repairs and the provision of void works.
This appointment provides a compliant and efficient procurement route for CHIC members to access a wide range of vital property services, enabling the delivery of whole-life building solutions that cover both internal and external components of structures.
The four-year Multi-Element Framework, which is active from 2025 to 2029, was highly competitive. Procast Group joins a selection of regional and national contractors chosen from a total lineup of 33 firms to support the needs of housing providers across the consortium. The framework is open to more than 200 CHIC members, which are primarily comprised of local authorities and housing associations, alongside members from the education and health sectors.
Under the terms of the framework, Procast Group is authorised to deliver a substantial suite of services. These include: demolition, extensions, alterations, new construction, groundworks, remediation, foundations, external environmental improvements, communal area enhancements, roofing, building plastics, insulation, windows and doors, electrical systems, wiring, and heating services.
Derek Innes, Owner and Managing Director of Procast Group, welcomed the news: "We are delighted to be appointed to CHIC's Multiple Elements Framework as we continue to expand our contribution to high-quality property services.
"This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity for Procast Group to contribute to the effective delivery of crucial works and services for CHIC's members.
"We look forward to delivering exceptional services and fostering long-lasting partnerships."
Procast Group currently employs over 130 staff and is a market leader in innovative multi-trade contracting projects and retrofitting work across Scotland and the North of England. The group also maintains operational offices in Aberdeen, West Lothian, and Dumfries.
