Morrison Construction has achieved a major victory at the Learning Places Scotland Awards, securing the prestigious title of Contractor of the Year.
This award recognises the construction firm's industry-leading approach to collaboration, quality, and the creation of inspirational learning environments across Scotland.
In an exceptional result for the business, Morrison Construction also won Project of the Year for its work on East Calder Primary School.
Further highlighting the firm's commitment to quality educational infrastructure, Easthouses Primary School was highly commended in the same category. Both projects were acknowledged for their exemplary standard and positive impact on local learners and communities.
Specialist category wins underscored the focus on innovative and inclusive design:
• Beatlie ASN School won the Space for Outdoor Learning Award for its sensory-led and inclusive external environments.
• Easthouses Primary School received the Inspired Learning Spaces Award, celebrating its flexible, child-centred internal design.
David Ewing, Managing Director for Morrison Construction's Building Central business, commented on the success: "Seeing our teams recognised across so many categories is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the passion, expertise and commitment they bring to every project. These awards celebrate the positive impact high-quality learning environments have on young people and communities, and we are incredibly proud to play our part in delivering them."
