The construction of a new collection of sixteen affordable homes at Lochside Park in Dunfermline has been successfully completed, marking the latest phase of the Lochay Homes' wider residential scheme.

The completed build, delivered under a £3.6 million contract, represents the fourth successful partnership between the private developer and Kingdom Housing Association.

Kingdom's Development and Sustainability Director, Tricia Hill, and other representatives visited the new properties on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, ahead of the official handover that took place last week.

The affordable housing component comprises a mix of cottage flats, terraced and semi-detached houses, and a purpose-built accessible bungalow. All of the new properties have been constructed to meet modern energy-efficiency standards, providing comfortable, high-quality living spaces for local families. These homes form part of Lochay Homes' broader Lochside Park development, which also includes 43 private three- and four-bedroom homes.

Tricia Hill commented on the quality of the recent construction work:
