BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out resurfacing works on the A82 south of Spean Bridge starting Sunday, 26 October.
The work will take place overnight between 7pm and 6am, with completion expected by the morning of Friday, 31 October.
During the works, the road will be closed in both directions to ensure the safety of the workforce and the travelling public. Temporary amnesties will be provided at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 2am, and 4am to allow waiting vehicles to pass safely through the site. Emergency services and scheduled bus services will retain full access throughout the duration of the project.
Consultation with relevant stakeholders has been carried out in advance to coordinate traffic management arrangements.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland's North West Representative, said: "This resurfacing project on the A82 south of Spean Bridge will fix existing defects in the road surface and improve road markings, greatly improving quality and safety for road users.
"Our teams will carry out these works quickly, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements."
