The Lost Shore Surf Resort received a special honour at the Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025, securing the coveted Judges' Special Recognition Award.

The pioneering project, which opened in 2024 and is home to Europe's largest wave pool, was one of ten projects supported by Arc-Tech (Scotland) that were shortlisted for the awards in Glasgow on Thursday, 25 September 2025.

Arc-Tech (Scotland) supported Malcolm Group with a £7 million M&E Services package. This package helped deliver the impressive Wavegarden technology and various onsite amenities, including shops, restaurants, wellness treatments, and overnight accommodation. The resort was designed by Oberlanders Architects with HarrisonStevens.

Arc-Tech's in-house services were also deployed across a number of award-winning residential projects:

• Clydebank East, an 88-home 'net zero ready' development for West Dunbartonshire Council, secured the 'Affordable Housing Development of the Year' award. It is one of three projects in the Central Belt to adopt a combined Air Source Heat Pump (cASHP) district heating system designed and installed by Arc-Tech.

• Water Row, a 92-home development in Glasgow, secured two awards.

• Brandon Street (Motherwell) and Maltings Wynd (North Glasgow) also secured an award each.

Arc-Tech's Renewables and Sprinklers divisions supported the energy and fire safety strategies across the winning developments.
