The first Launch Academy Scotland technology accelerator programme has delivered a wide range of benefits for the 10 Scottish supply chain companies that participated.
The programme, which ran from November 2024 to May 2025, was operated by the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult and supported by Inch Cape. Its goal was to equip the companies with the tools needed to succeed and grow in the offshore wind sector.
The participating firms received tailored support, including one-to-one mentoring, peer-to-peer learning, and expert-led workshops. According to a new impact report, the programme provided a "mutually rewarding" experience for the sponsors and participants, opening the door to commercial opportunities. The 10 companies that took part were: AJT Engineering Ltd, Fathom Group, FENNEX, Kraken Robotics, Revive Geoscience Services, Smarter Subsea, SubWorx Ltd, Airspection, Frontier Robotics, and Innovair™.
The programme was also sponsored by Ocean Winds, Blue Float Energy I Nadara Partnership, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and South of Scotland Enterprise.
