I&H Brown has announced it has secured a new major earthworks contract at the Blindwells development, deepening its long-standing collaboration with Hargreaves Services plc, a partnership that commenced in 2018.

This latest phase of work will see I&H Brown's team relocate over 2,000,000 cubic metres of material between plots, preparing the ground for future housing developments.

A crucial aspect of the project will involve High Energy Impact Compaction (HEIC). This advanced ground improvement technique uses impact compactors to deliver high-energy force into the ground, ensuring all housing plots achieve the required compaction levels for long-term stability and performance. I&H Brown's extensive experience at Blindwells, having already delivered five phases of earthworks and numerous infrastructure phases, positions them well to execute this stage to the highest standards of quality and safety.
