Procast Group's Charity Golf Day For Scottish Youth Charities

Leading full turnkey retrofit specialists, Procast Group, are celebrating the success of their annual charity golf event, 'The Three Amigos Golf Day', which raised an impressive £7,000 for three Scottish charities.

The popular fundraising event, a highlight of the Hamilton-based firm's social calendar, took place at Airdrie Golf Club on Friday, 23 May 2025.

Organised by Gerry Peat, HR Manager at Procast Group, the event saw enthusiastic participation from colleagues, partners, and friends of the company. The substantial funds raised will be equally split, providing crucial support for young people across the community during the summer.

Action for Children North Lanarkshire will receive £2,500. This donation will be used to fund a much-deserved holiday for a group of young carers at Flamingo Land, offering them a vital break from their daily responsibilities.

Dalziel Rugby Club in Motherwell will also benefit from a £2,500 contribution, earmarked for purchasing new kits, hosting a family fun day, and delivering essential SAMH mental health workshops for their young players.

Finally, Eddlewood Football Association will receive £2,000, which will go towards funding a free community fun day for local children and youth football teams.

Gerry Peat expressed his immense pride in the event's outcome: "Our golf day is always a fantastic occasion that our team and partners look forward to each year. To be able to raise such a substantial sum while enjoying a day out together is incredibly rewarding. Knowing this money will have a direct impact on the lives of young people across our communities this summer makes it even more worthwhile. Supporting charitable causes and helping to build a more sustainable and positive future is embedded in the culture here at Procast Group. I want to thank everyone who took part and contributed; their generosity makes a real difference."

Procast Group, employing over 130 staff, is a market leader in retrofitting work and innovative multi-trade contracting projects across Scotland and the North of England, with its headquarters in Hamilton and additional bases in Aberdeen, Dumfries, and Forfar.
